Ingredients
- 4 pounds (1.8 kg) beef chuck roast
- garlic clove, cut in half
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup (65 g) chopped carrot
- ½ cup (50 g) chopped celery
- ½ cup (80 g) sliced onion
- ¾ cup (180 g) sour cream
- 2 tbsps (24 g) flour
- ½ cup (120 ml) dry white wine
Method
- Rub roast with garlic
- Season with pepper
- Place in slow cooker
- Add carrots, celery, and onion
- Combine sour cream, flour, and wine
- Pour into slow cooker
- Cover and cook on low 6 to 7 hours
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 186 g water; 538 calories (36% from fat, 60% from protein, 4% from carb)
