Grits Cheese Souffle Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C. regular grits, cooked
- 1 tsp onion salt
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 3/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 C. butter
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 3/4 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
- paprika
Method
- In a large bowl, add the cooked grits, onion salt, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce and butter and mix until well combined
- Add the beaten eggs and cheese and stir combine
- Transfer the mixture into a 2 1/2-quart baking dish and sprinkle with the paprika generously
- Refrigerate, covered overnight
- Set your oven to 350 degrees F
- Remove from the refrigerator and keep aside for at least 15 minutes before baking
- Cook in the oven for about 1 1/2 hours
