Turtle Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 1 Box German chocolate cake mix
  • 3/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 Bag – (14 oz) caramels
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method

  1. Mix cake mix according to package directions.
  2. Pour half of the batter into 13×9 inch floured and greased pan.
  3. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
  4. Melt caramels with milk and butter.
  5. Pour over cake, sprinkle pecans and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour remaining cake batter over top.
  7. Bake 20 minutes more at 350 degrees.
  8. May be frosted.
