Simple Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 1 unbaked pie shell – (9″)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1 stick corn oil margarine
  • 4 Eggs – room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans – whole or broken

Method

  1. Cook syrup,, sugar and margarine until it arrives at a bubbly boil.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. In large mixing bowl, beat eggs well.
  4. Beating continuously, add syrup mixture.
  5. Add vanilla and pecans.
  6. Pour filling into unbaked shell.
  7. Bake pie resting on a cooky sheet.
  8. Place in a preheated 400 degree oven for 35 – 40 minutes.
  9. Cool on a cake rack.
