Mustard Souffle Recipe
Ingredients
- 5 slices bread, buttered and cubed
- 3/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 eggs
- 2 C. milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Method
- Grease a souffle dish with some butter
- In a bowl, add the eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper and beat until well combined
- In the bottom of prepared souffle dish, arrange bread slices and top with cheese slices
- Place the egg mixture on top evenly
- Keep aside at room temperature for about one hour
- Set your oven to 350 degrees F
- Cook in the oven for about one hour
