Mustard Souffle Recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 slices bread, buttered and cubed
  • 3/4 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 C. milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Method

  1. Grease a souffle dish with some butter
  2. In a bowl, add the eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper and beat until well combined
  3. In the bottom of prepared souffle dish, arrange bread slices and top with cheese slices
  4. Place the egg mixture on top evenly
  5. Keep aside at room temperature for about one hour
  6. Set your oven to 350 degrees F
  7. Cook in the oven for about one hour
