Keto Haggis
Ingredients
- 120g Sausages, Cumberland if possible
- 40g Butter
- 15g coarse oatbran
- 80g Black pudding, raw (minus skin)
- 50g animal fat
- 1 tsp dried herbs
- 1 tsp onion salt
Method
- Remove the sausage meat from the skin
- Mix with the black pudding, butter, herbs, fat & season with onion salt (optional)
- Form into an oval shaped ball
- Roll tightly in cling film to shape
- Make sure it is well wrapped with 3-4 layers twist the ends and tie to make a handle
- Place in a small pan of boiling water cover with a lid and simmer for 20 mins
- Cool in the cling film for a few minutes before serving
- You can freeze but make sure you reheat them thoroughly when serving
