Ingredients

  • boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (280 g) low-salt cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup (230 g) sour cream
  • 225g mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices low-salt bacon, cooked and crumbled

Method

  1. Place chicken in slow cooker
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soup, sour cream, and mushrooms
  3. Pour over chicken
  4. Cover and cook on low 4 to 5 hours or until chicken is tender but not dry
  5. Sprinkle with bacon before serving
  6. Yield: 4 servings
  7. Per serving: 217 g water; 252 calories (46% from fat, 38% from protein, 16% from carb)

Serve over cooked rice or pasta
