Ingredients
- 700 ml fat-free evaporated milk
- 6 L apple cider
- 475 ml orange juice
- ½ cup (120 ml) honey
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 apple, peeled
- orange, sliced
Method
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven or large kettle
- Insert cloves into apple
- Add apple and orange slices to juice mixture
- Bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes
- Transfer to slow cooker
- Cook on low for 2 hours
- Keep warm in the cooker for serving
- Yield: 14 servings
- Per serving: 162 g water; 121 calories (2% from fat, 2% from protein, 96% from carb)
