Mushrooms With Pasta Italian

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • pepper to taste
  • 8oz Musrooms
  • 12oz ounce spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup grated italian cheese
  • 1/2 cup white wine

Method

  1. Wipe mushrooms if necessary
  2. Slice mushrooms
  3. Bring 4 quarts of cold, salted water to boil over high heat on stove
  4. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat and add mushrooms shallots and salt
  5. Cook, stirring, 15 minutes
  6. Add whipping cream and cook until liquid reduces to sauce-like consistency and is thick enough to coat spoon
  7. Add Cheese
  8. Remove from heat and keep in warm place until pasta is finished cooking
  9. Add pasta to boiling water, cook until desired doneness, drain and toss with mushrooms
  10. Place on serving platter or in large serving bowl and serve immediately
  11. Serve with grated cheese
  12. Makes 4 servings
