Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce, plus another 1/4 cup set aside
  • 4 lbs of chicken wings

Method

  1. Start by browning the chicken pieces
  2. Melt the coconut oil and mix with half cup of hot sauce
  3. Put the wings in the crock pot and pour the coconut oil-hot sauce mixture over the chicken and coat completely
  4. Add another ¼ cup of the hot sauce over the chicken pieces
  5. Cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours
