Velvet Pudding Portuguese Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c. melted sugar (caramel)

Method

  1. 5 eggs, yolks and whites
  2. Other 5 eggs only yolks
  3. Beat eggs and sugar together and add milk and vanilla; mix together
  4. Grease pyrex with butter
  5. Melt 3/4 sugar in pot very lightly, simmer
  6. Add all ingredients in pyrex and put in oven at 375 degrees for 1 hour
