Sweet And Sour Kidney Beans Recipe
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 8
- 2 cans kidney beans – drained 1 lb each)
- 1 can garbanzo beans – drained (1 lb.)
- 1 medium onion – chopped fine
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 medium green pepper – chopped fine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup salad oil
- 1/2 cup wine vinegar
Method
- Combine vegetables in large bowl.
- Combine sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar and pour over vegetables.
- Stir well; cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Stir occasionally to marinate thoroughly.
- Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
