Sweet And Sour Kidney Beans Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 8
  • 2 cans kidney beans – drained 1 lb each)
  • 1 can garbanzo beans – drained (1 lb.)
  • 1 medium onion – chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1 medium green pepper – chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar

Method

  1. Combine vegetables in large bowl.
  2. Combine sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar and pour over vegetables.
  3. Stir well; cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Stir occasionally to marinate thoroughly.
  5. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
