Ingredients
- ½ gallon (1.9 L) apple cider, divided
- ¼ cup (56 g) red hots candies
- ¼ cups brown sugar
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp allspice
Method
- Combine 2 cups (475 ml) cider, red hots, and brown sugar and microwave on medium for 7 to 8 minutes
- Add cloves and allspice
- Mix with remainder of cider
- Heat in slow cooker until flavor is well developed, at least one hour
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 218 g water; 144 calories (2% from fat, 0% from protein, 97% from carb)
