Smothered Steak Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (900 g) beef round steak
  • 2 tbsps (15 g) onion soup mix
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) water
  • 280g cream of mushroom soup

Method

  1. Cut steak into 5 to 6 serving-size pieces
  2. Place in slow cooker
  3. Add dry onion soup mix, water, and soup
  4. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours
  5. Yield: 6 servings
  6. Per serving: 159 g water; 220 calories (25% from fat, 67% from protein, 9% from carb)
