Portuguese Sweet Rice Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 stick margarine, slice it
- 1 c. River Rice
- 10 pkgs. Sweet ‘n’ Low or 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. Tang
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- 2 egg yolks
Method
- Microwave water, milk, margarine and rice 10 minutes, stir
- Repeat twice
- Add 2 egg yolks, Tang and vanilla; mix all together
- Put on a platter and add sugar
- Add cream on dish as desired
