Ingredients
- Serving Size : 4
- 1 md onion chopped
- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 1 md head fresh broccoli
- salt and fresh grnd pepper
- 3 tablespoon butter to taste
- 1/4 cup olive oli
- 12 ounce pasta cooked
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- grated cheese for topping
- 1 tb ready chopped garlic
Method
- Wash and cut broccoli into bite size pieces.
- Cook in salted water until crisp
- Take care not to overcook
- Drain well and set aside.
- In a pan, melt butter in olive oil.
- Sautee onion until translucent.
- Add garlic and simmer for 1 minute.
- Add broccoli, and wine or broth
- Simmer 3 minutes.
- Add salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl mix drained pasta with broccoli mixture.
- Toss well.
- Serve immediately with grated cheese for topping.
