Pasta Cheese Sauce Italian Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon flour
  • 4oz Mozzarella
  • 1 1/8 cup milk
  • 2 ounce gruyere
  • 12 ounce pasta
  • 2 ounce fontina
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • grated cheese

Method

  1. Heat half the butter in a pan
  2. When it melts add the flour
  3. When it begins to bubble add the milk and mix well
  4. Cook on low for 5 min
  5. It will start to thicken
  6. Mix often to avoid lumping and sticking
  7. Cut all the cheese into small strips
  8. Gradually add the cheese mixing well while it melts into a velvety sauce
  9. Season with salt and pepper and serve over hot, cooked pasta of your choice
  10. Top with grated cheese
