Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Eggs – unbeaten
- heavy cream.
- 1 cup sugar
Method
- Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder and salt and sift together three times.
- To eggs, in cup, add enough cream to fill cup.
- Beat with rotary beater, adding sugar, then flour.
- Bake in two greased 9 inch layer pans in moderate oven (375 degrees) 25 minutes.
- Put layers together and cover top with whipped cream.
