Ingredients
Makes 4 servings
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 2 tablespoons vegan margarine
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Method
- In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil over high heat
- Add the salt and whisk in the cornmeal
- Reduce heat to low
- Cook, stirring, until the water is absorbed, about 15 minutes
- Turn off the heat and stir in the margarine
- Spoon into 4 bowls, drizzle with the maple syrup and serve
