Ingredients
- Serving Size : 4
- 1 pound carrots – sliced
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 dash salt
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
Method
- Scrape, then slice carrots.
- Cook in a small amount of salted water until just tender, drain.
- Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in a small skillet, bring to a boil.
- Pour over hot, cooked carrots and mix lightly.
