Hungry Jack Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Salt, to taste
- 3/4 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 (1 pound 12 ounce) can pork and beans
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons vinegar1 can Hungry Jack biscuits
Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Fry hamburger and onion together until brown
- Add brown sugar, salt, barbecue sauce, pork and beans, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and vinegar and bake in a 2-quart casserole for 20 minutes
- Cut biscuits in half and place them on the cut side around the dish; sprinkle cheese on biscuits
- Bake until brown
Serves 12
