Ham And Scalloped Potatoes Slow Cooker Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- ½ teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 cup (235 ml) water
- 1 pound (455 g) ham, sliced
- 320 g thinly sliced onions
- 1 cup (120 g) grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 can (280 g) low-salt cream of mushroom soup
- paprika
Method
- Toss sliced potatoes in cream of tartar and water
- Drain
- Put half of ham, potatoes, and onions in slow cooker
- Sprinkle with grated cheese
- Repeat with remaining half of ham, potatoes, and onions
- Spoon undiluted soup over top
- Sprinkle with paprika
- Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 4 hours
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 378 g water; 435 calories (22% from fat, 21% from protein, 57% from carb)
