Ingredients
- Serving Size : 1
- 2 Cups Milk
- 3/4 Cup Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Flour
- 1 Dash Salt
- 2 Eggs – beaten
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
- 2 Cups Heavy Cream – or half and half
Method
- Combine milk, sugar, flour and salt in a 2-quart batter bowl.
- Using a wire whisk to stir midway through cooking, microwave on high 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Pour about 1/4 of the heated mixture into eggs; blend thoroughly.
- Pour egg mixture into hot mixture.
- Whisking midway through cooking, microwave on 70% (medium high) for 2 minutes, or until thickened.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Stir in vanilla and cream.
- Pour into ice cream canister.
- Chill until mixture is cold.
- Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s directions.
