Garlic Parmesan Chaffles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1/3 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced; or less for milder garlic flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp Gluten-free baking powder (optional)

Method

  1. Gently melt the cream cheese
  2. You can melt the cream cheese in the microwave or a double boiler
  3. It doesn’t need to be piping hot, just warm so that you can stir it
  4. Mix the chaffle batter
  5. Stir together all your chaffle ingredients
  6. Cook your chaffle
  7. Pour the batter into the waffle maker to cover the surface well
  8. Cook until browned and crispy, about 3-4 minutes
  9. The best crispy chaffles tend to have a thicker batter
