Ingredients
- 2 tbsps (28 ml) olive oil
- 1 cup (160 g) finely chopped onion
- 1 pound (455 g) jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 pound (455 g) meatballs, basic or turkey
- 1 teaspoon orange peel
Method
- In small saucepan, heat oil over medium-high heat and saute onion
- Stir cranberry sauce into saucepan
- Heat on low until melted
- Combine cranberry mixture and remaining ingredients in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on low 2 to 4 hours
- Yield: 4 servings
- Per serving: 173 g water; 491 calories (40% from fat, 16% from protein, 44% from carb)
