Bran Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 12
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg – well beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter – melted
  • 1 cup post bran flakes

Method

  1. Sift flour once, measure, add baking powder, salt and sugar, and sift again.
  2. Combine egg and milk.
  3. Add flour, stirring as little as possible.
  4. Add butter and Post’s Bran Flakes.
  5. Pour into greased muffin pans, filling them 2/3 full.
  6. Bake in hot oven (450 degrees) 25 minutes.
