Black Beans Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 6
  • 1 pound Black beans
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion – cut in small pieces

Method

  1. Soak the black beans overnight.
  2. In a big pot, add 15 cups of cold water, with cumin, salt,pepper, garlic, and onions.
  3. Bring it to boil.
  4. Add the black beans without the water used to soak them.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until blackbeans are tender.
