Beef Cabbage Casserole Recipe

Ingredients

  • Makes: 6 servings
  • 1 small head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup raw rice
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Method

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion; drain fat
  2. Stir in sliced cabbage, tomato soup, tomato soup can of water, salt and pepper
  3. Cover and simmer until cabbage is tender; stirring occasionally
  4. Stir in sour cream just before serving
