No Rancho Applesauce Cake
Ingredients
- Serving Size : 6
- 2 cups unbleached flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup almonds
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups hot applesauce
Method
- Sift together all the dry ingredients, add nuts and raisins.
- Stir in the oil, vanilla and hot applesauce.
- Pour into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes or until done
