Apple Butter Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1 cup (235 ml) apple cider
  • 1 cup (340 g) honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon cloves

Method

  1. Core and chop apples but do not peel
  2. Combine with cider in slow cooker
  3. Stir in honey and spices
  4. Cover and cook on high for 6 to 8 hours then uncover, stir, and cook for up to 3 hours longer until desired consistency
  5. Yield: 48 servings
  6. Per serving: 33 g water; 39 calories (1% from fat, 1% from protein, 98% from carb)
