Chocolate Walnut Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine – softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate – melted and cooled
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Method

  1. Confectioners’ sugar
  2. In large bowl of mixer cream butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla and salt until fluffy.
  3. Beat in chocolate until well blended.
  4. Stir in flour and nuts.
  5. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2″ apart on well-greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 10 minutes or until edges are crisp
  7. Cool 1 minute before removing to rack to cool.
  8. Sift confectioners’ sugar over tops.
  9. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
