Lemon Asparagus With Toasted Sesame Seeds Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 6
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 pounds asparagus – trimmed and washed
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (from 1/2 lemon)
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds – toasted

Method

  1. Salt
  2. Ground black pepper
  3. TO PREPARE: Blanch asparagus.
  4. Toast sesame seeds in a small nonstick saucepan over medium heat, shaking the pan until the seeds are golden brown.
  5. TO COOK: Heat butter in a large skillet.
  6. Add asparagus; sauti until tender, about 2 minutes.
  7. Add lemon juice and sesame seeds; season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  8. Serve immediately.
