Tex-Mex Dip Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 12
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 medium Avocados
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Taco Seasoning Mix packet
  • 21 ounces Bean dip – plain or jalepeno
  • 1 cup Green onions – chopped
  • 3 Tomatoes – seeded and chopped
  • 7 ounces Olives – chopped
  • 8 ounces Sharp cheddar cheese – grated

Method

  1. Tortilla chips
  2. Peel, pit and mash avocados in medium bowl.
  3. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  4. In separate bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning.
  5. To assemble, spread bean dip on a large, shallow platter.
  6. Top with avocado mixture.
  7. Put on sour cream and taco mixture.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped onions, tomatoes, and olives.
  9. Cover with shredded cheese.
