Crock Pot Tomato Chicken Tinga Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. chicken breast
- 1/2 large onion, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1.5 cups diced tomatoes with green
- chiles
- 3 tbsp chipotle salsa or blended
- chipotles
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method
- Place the chicken breast in the crock pot
- Add all other ingredients and mix well
- Allow the ingredients to cook for about 4 hours on high
- Transfer the chicken onto a platter and shred using a fork
- Mix in some juice and tomatoes from the cooked mixture onto the shredded chicken
- Serve warm
