Ingredients
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce, plus another 1/4 cup set aside
- 4 lbs of chicken wings
Method
- Start by browning the chicken pieces
- Melt the coconut oil and mix with half cup of hot sauce
- Put the wings in the crock pot and pour the coconut oil-hot sauce mixture over the chicken and coat completely
- Add another ¼ cup of the hot sauce over the chicken pieces
- Cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours
