Ingredients
- 1 kg great northern beans, cooked or canned without salt, drained
- 8 ounces 225 g shredded cooked chicken breasts
- 1 cup (160 g) chopped onion
- 1½ cups (225 g) chopped green bell pepper
- 115g diced green chilies
- ¾ teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 tsps cumin
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- 3½ cups (820 ml) low-salt chicken broth
Method
- Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours or on high 4 to 5 hours
- Yield: 8 servings
- Per serving: 317 g water; 290 calories (6% from fat, 32% from protein, 62% from carb)
