Ingredients

  • Serves: 6
  • 1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 28 oz can whole tomatoes, undrained and crushed
  • 2 cups sweet potatoes, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup lentils
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp kosher salt

Method

  1. Add all ingredients into the slow cooker and stir well.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  3. Stir well and serve.
