Turkey Breast With Mushrooms Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound (1.3 kg) turkey breast, halved
  • 1 tbsp (14 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsps (2.6 g) parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) dry white wine
  • 225g mushrooms, sliced

Method

  1. Place turkey in slow cooker
  2. Brush with butter
  3. Mix together parsley, oregano, pepper, and wine
  4. Pour over turkey
  5. Top with mushrooms
  6. Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours
  7. Yield: 9 servings
  8. Per serving: 142 g water; 197 calories (18% from fat, 79% from protein, 2% from carb)
