Quick Tuna Noodle Casserole
Ingredients
- 12-oz. pkg. egg noodles
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 11-oz. can condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 soup can milk
- 9 1/4-oz. can tuna, drained
- 1 cup frozen corn
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese or buttered bread crumbs
Method
- Preheat oven to 375F
- Cook egg noodles as directed on package; drain and set aside
- Meanwhile, in 4-qt saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender but not browned
- Whisk in flour, then stir in cheese soup
- Gradually whisk in milk, cooking and stirring until thickened and bubbly
- Stir in tuna, noodles, and corn
- Turn into 2-qt casserole dish greased with non-stick cooking spray
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese or buttered bread crumbs
- Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes
