Ingredients

- 2 packages yeast
- warm water.
- 2 cups scalded milk
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 3 tablespoons shortening
- 1/2 cup rye flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup white flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Stir and mix the three flours extra well.
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Add more flour as to make dough easy to knead so as not to be sticky.
- Let rise, punch down and rise again.
- Shape 2 loaves, let rise.
- Bake at 350 degrees.
