Sweet Biscuit Ring Recipe
Ingredients
Serving Size : 1
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter – softened
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup finely chopped nuts
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter – melted
Method
- Glaze – see recipe
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Grease 9″ round pan.
- Mix baking mix, sour cream and milk until soft dough forms.
- Gently smooth dough into a ball on cloth-covered board dusted with baking mix.
- Roll into rectangle 12×6 inches.
- Spread with 2 tbsp softened margarine.
- Mix brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough.
- Roll up tightly, beginning at 12″ side.
- Seal well by pinching edge of dough into roll.
- Cut roll into twelve 1″ slices.
- Place in circle in pan, overlapping slices.
- Drizzle with 2 tbsp melted margarine,
- Bake until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
- Cool 30 minutes.
- Glaze.
