Sweet And Sour Chicken Wings Slow Cooker
Ingredients
- 3 pounds (1.4 kg) chicken wings
- ¼ cup (60 ml) balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup (330 g) apricot preserves
- 1 cup (240 g) no-salt-added ketchup
- 3 tbsps (45 g) horseradish
- 1 cup (160 g) finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp hot pepper sauce, or to taste
Method
- Pat the chicken wings dry and place them in the slow cooker
- In a bowl, mix together remaining ingredients
- Taste and adjust seasonings
- Pour the sauce over the wings
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low until the chicken is tender, about 4 to 5 hours
- Yield: 16 servings
- Per serving: 95 g water; 183 calories (16% from fat, 43% from protein, 42% from carb)
