Ingredients

  • 3 pounds (1 3 kg) beef chuck roast
  • ½ cup (120 ml) orange juice
  • 3 tbsps (45 ml) low-salt soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Method

  1. Place meat in slow cooker
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients and pour over meat
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 5 hours
  4. Yield: 10 servings
  5. Per serving: 94 g water; 305 calories (32% from fat, 62% from protein, 6% from carb)
