Ingredients

  • 1 pound (455 g) extra-lean ground beef
  • 750 g low-salt spaghetti sauce
  • 115g Cheddar, shredded
  • 115g mozzarella, shredded
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • ½ teaspoon fennel seed

Method

  1. Brown beef in a skillet over medium heat and crumble fine
  2. Combine beef and remaining ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours
  3. Yield: 12 servings
  4. Per serving: 80 g water; 219 calories (58% from fat, 23% from protein, 19% from carb)
