Meatballs For Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 12
  • 1 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 garlic clove – minced
  • 1 egg – beaten lightly
  • 3 tablespoon oil
  • 3/4 cup dried bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoon parsley – minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper freshly ground
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon basil – crumbled

Method

  1. Combine the beef, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, egg, and pepper Mix thoroughly and shape into balls 1 inch in diameter.
  2. Melt the oil in a saucepan.
  3. Brown the meatballs lightly on all sides; drain off the fat.
  4. Add tomato sauce, cover, and simmer 40 minutes.
  5. Serve over spaghetti.
