Ingredients

  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple (2-1/4 cups)
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • Method

  • Pour boiling water over pineapple; add juice of lemons and sugar.
  • Stir until well combined.
  • Freeze until mushy in ice cube trays or a metal bowl.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff; whisk into pineapple mixture.
  • Freeze.
