Low Fat Cottage Cheese-Dill Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup nonfat buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup nonfat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon nonfat parmesan cheese
  • 1 scallion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Method

  • Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Chill in a covered container 4 hours until serving.
  • Serves 4.
  • Calories per 3 1/2 tablespoon serving g fat
  • :VARIATION: Substitute 1/3 c plain nonfat yogurt for cottage cheese
  • Delete parmesan cheese & dill.
  • Add 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar and 2 Tbsp honey
