Light N Fruity Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • Serving Size : 1
  • 1 package jello gelatin – any flavor (3 oz)
  • 2/3 cup boiling water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 1 Container Cool Whip – thawed
  • 1 Baked 8 or 9″ graham cracker crumb crust – cooled

Method

  1. Dissolve gelatin completely in boiling water, stirring 3 minutes.
  2. Add ice cubes and stir constantly until gelatin is thickened, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Remove any un-melted ice.
  4. Using wire whip, blend in whipped topping; then whip until smooth.
  5. Chill.
  6. If necessary, until mixture will mound.
  7. Spoon into pie crust.
  8. Chill 2 hours.
  9. Garnish with fruit, if desired.
