Keto Mock Sausage Breakfast Patties Recipe

Ingredients

Yield: 8 patties (2 per serving)

  • 1 cup (120g) raw walnuts
  • ½ cup (56g) ground flax seeds
  • ½ cup (120 ml) vegetable broth
  • 2 teaspoons Sausage Spice Mix (see Sausage Spice Mix) or xxx

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. In a small mixing bowl, stir together all the ingredients until thoroughly combined
  3. Let sit for about 5 minutes, until a thick, sticky dough forms
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions, then form each portion into a 3-inch (8-cm) round patty
  5. Place the patties on the lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes, until firm to the touch
  6. Serve warm
  7. Refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month
  8. To reheat – Place the patties in a preheated 300°F (150°C) oven for 10 minutes, or until the desired temperature is reached
