  • 1/3 cup 20 g flaxseed meal
  • 1 cup (100 g) vital wheat gluten
  • 1/3 cup (40 g) vanilla whey protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons blackstrap molasses
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) oil
  • 2 teaspoons yeast

Method

  1. Put the ingredients in your bread machine in the order given and run the machine
  2. When finished, promptly remove the loaf from the machine and bread case to cool

Makes 11 slices

  1. Each with 6 grams of carbohydrates and 2 grams of fiber, for a total of 4 grams of usable carbs and 19 grams of protein
